Envision UC Davis Program

Envision UC Davis

In response to state and local guidelines, UC Davis is making modifications to our events in order to ensure they are held in a safe and accessible format in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. After reviewing current campus, local, and state guidelines, the Envision UC Davis planning committee has made the difficult discussion to move Envision to a Zoom online platform. While we know that the online program cannot fully replicate the excitement of an in-person visit, we pledge to provide you with a meaningful and educational experience.

October 15 - 16, 2020

Now in its third year, Envision UC Davis enables California's most promising undergraduate students to develop an understanding and appreciation of graduate education. The program sponsors California residents hoping to apply for graduate school within the next two years, allowing them to envision their future as a graduate student at UC Davis.  Participants who complete the program will be granted an application fee waiver should they choose to apply for admission to a UC Davis graduate program.

The Envision Program provides an opportunity for students to:

  • Engage with current graduate students and faculty.

  • Connect with your peers who are also considering graduate school.

  •  Learn about the graduate programs at UC Davis, and our distinctive interdisciplinary graduate education experience providing the freedom to explore and engage in cross-disciplinary research.

  • Obtain information about fellowships, awards and other forms of financial support, to fund your graduate education.

  • Visit UC Davis research laboratories, academic units, and tour the town of Davis.

  • Receive helpful tips about the graduate school application process.

Envision UC Davis was born out of our shared vision to create a more diverse and talented workforce at UC Davis, in the State of California, and across the nation. We will reach our vision by increasing the diversity and talent pool for students prepared to enter our 100+ graduate programs.
