Have an opportunity you want to share with the entire UC Davis graduate student community? Start with GradLink! GradLink is a monthly e-newsletter publication for the UC Davis graduate education community. It includes news, announcements, updates, and other information that pertains to graduate students and postdoctoral scholars at UC Davis.
GradLink is published the second Wednesday of each month, October through June, and includes events and announcements for the following month. Please submit all announcements, news items, and events to gradlinkeditor@ucdavis.edu no later than 3:00 pm on the first Wednesday of the month.
Who Can Submit?
Graduate Studies publishes submissions on a space-available basis with priority given to campus units that serve graduate students and/or postdoctoral scholars.
All student groups are welcome to submit events, regardless of ideology, religious affiliation, etc. However, all student groups must be affiliated with a student organization that is registered through the Center for Student Involvement. Graduate Studies reserves the right to accept, reject, or edit all submissions for publication.
GradLink will not publish commercial advertisements or announcements, nor will we accept items advocating candidates for off-campus elections.
Types of Submissions
Submissions must include a link to a landing or registration page. No attachments, images or fliers, please!

News Submissions: GradLink's news items are compiled from a variety of campus and media sources. All news items must feature UC Davis graduate students, postdoctoral scholars, or graduate alumni and must cite and link to the original story source. See an example of a recent issue for the preferred format.

Announcement Submissions: Acceptable announcements include calls for nominations or applications, policy reminders and general notices that may be relevant to the graduate education community at UC Davis. Announcements should not exceed 120 words in length and should end with a link to a landing or registration page. See an example of a recent issue for the preferred format.

Event Submissions: Due to the number of submissions received, only the title, date, time, location and one-sentence description of the events will be published. If the event is part of a multi-part series, please create a submission for the series rather than the individual events. See an example of a recent issue for the preferred format.

Fellowship Submission: Calls for fellowship nominations or submissions must be sent directly to the Graduate Studies Student Financial Support team, who prioritize the fellowship announcements for each month. Fellowship announcements submitted through this form will not be accepted. Please send fellowship announcements to externalfellowships@ucdavis.edu for review and consideration.
