Supporting the Next Generation of Graduate Students
Graduate Studies is home to a number of programs designed to prepare educationally or economically disadvantaged undergraduate students for success in graduate education.
UC Davis graduate preparation programs seek to address the underrepresentation of Black, African American, Chicanx/Latinx, Native American, and former foster youth students in graduate education and research careers. These programs are an opportunity for undergraduate students to dive deeper into their academic passions while gaining the skills and support necessary to succeed in graduate school and welcome applications from all interested students, including Black, African American, Chicanx/Latinx, and Native American students. Participants in these programs will conduct research and build connections with UC Davis faculty and graduate students.
Throughout the course of these programs, students will also attend workshops and seminars focused on graduate school admissions and GRE preparation and they will also receive an application fee waiver to UC Davis graduate admissions.
