Graduate Studies Commencement Ceremony

Graduate Studies Commencement

Fall 2021 Graduate Studies Commencement

Graduate Studies is excited to announce we are moving forward with plans to celebrate you this Fall. Pending state and county health and safety guidelines, we will honor you at an in-person Commencement Ceremony on Thursday, December 9, at 3:00 p.m. inside the University Credit Union Center (formally The ARC Pavilion). Limited guest tickets and seating will be offered pending health and safety guidelines. We will confirm the number of guests and COVID-19 requirements at a later date.

Fall 2021 Eligibility Requirements

Graduate Studies does not usually host a Fall Commencement Ceremony, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Spring 2020, students who filed to graduate (FG) or had a degree awarded (DA) were only able to participate in a virtual Commencement Celebration. Graduate Studies would like to invite these individuals to celebrate their accomplishments at an in-person ceremony on December 9, 2021.

Only students are eligible to participate in the December ceremony:

  • Degree Awarded (DA) - September 1, 2019 - June 10, 2021
    or
  • Filed to Graduate (FG) June 11, 2021 - September 10, 2021

If you FG/DA after September 10, 2021, you will be eligible to participate in the Spring 2022 commencement ceremony in June 2022.

Please note, Graduate Studies is planning the event in accordance with the Campus Ready guidance. Should the COVID Delta variant shift, we will be cancelling the event with as much notice as possible to everyone. There will not be a virtual option, but you will be invited to the Spring 2022 Commencement Ceremony.
