Graduate Alumni Volunteer Opportunities
UC Davis Graduate Studies is launching a new volunteer opportunity for advanced degree alumni who wish to give back to their alma mater by helping current graduate and professional students meet their academic and career goals. It is our goal that, through participation in the program outlined below, advanced degree alumni will hone their advising and leadership skills while sharing their expertise with fellow Aggies.
Aggie Graduate Alumni Mentorship Program
Participate as a mentor in a pilot program that connects advanced degree UC Davis alumni with graduate and professional students in order to create a mutually rewarding professional network where mentors share their knowledge, expertise, and the tools and resources necessary to promote student success. This program will begin in November 2024 and conclude in May 2025. After the virtual orientation and kickoff event, mentors and mentees will arrange their meetings independently and connect via phone, email, or video conference.
