About National Postdoc Appreciation Week

Since 2009, the National Postdoctoral Association has sponsored National Postdoc Appreciation Day/Week to recognize the significant contributions that postdoctoral scholars make to U.S. research and discovery. Institutions from across the country and other parts of the world participate by holding special events. In 2010, this week was officially recognized by the U.S. House of Representatives. Events will be held throughout the week and across the country to create awareness.

The eleventh annual celebration of National Postdoc Appreciation Week (NPAW) will be held September 21-25, 2020.

Take The Survey

The survey will be open from Monday, September 21, 2020 through Sunday, September 27. UC Davis postdocs that complete the survey will be eligible for a special gift - a UC Davis Graduate Studies face mask.
