SPRING 2024 GRADUATE STUDIES COMMENCEMENT
Graduate Studies is excited to announce the Spring 2024 Commencement ceremonies on June 13. In order to honor our graduates more personally, we have organized two distinct ceremonies by degree type. Eligible students for the ceremony will be notified, please visit the Commencement Information for Students page for eligibility requirements. 2024 registration is now closed.

Ceremony Details
It is essential that students attend the correct ceremony aligned with their degree type. Please refer to the following breakdown for details:
Master’s Degree Ceremony
Date: Thursday, June 13
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Location: University Credit Union Center
Student Line-Up: Please assemble in Hutchison Field South by 9:00 a.m. in full regalia.
Master's Program Deputy (MPD) Checklist
MFA and Doctoral Degree Ceremony
Date: Thursday, June 13
Time: 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Location: University Credit Union Center.
Student Line-Up: Please assemble in Hutchison Field South by 2:00 p.m. in full regalia.

Arrival Time
- Student and faculty line-up and check-in is typically an hour prior to the ceremony's starting time (9:00 a.m. for Master's, 2:00 p.m. for MFA and Doctoral). Please arrive promptly.
Regalia
- Regalia is available for purchase through the UC Davis Stores, rental options will become available starting on March 1. The deadline to order regalia without a late fee is April 22.
Regalia Returns
- Collection tables will be available for drop offs after the ceremony out in Hutchison Field. For more information on regalia rentals, please click here.
Guest Tickets
- All registered students will receive up to (8) guest tickets to attend the in-person ceremony. Guest tickets are managed by the Aggie Ticket Box Office. Ticket registration information can be found in the student confirmation email.
Parking
Parking is complimentary with registration for all graduates and commencement
guests in designated lots. For instructions on how to register for complimentary
parking watch this video or follow the instructions below.
Step 1: Navigate to parking.ucdavis.edu
Step 2: Click on Special Event Parking
Step 3: Select Commencement Ceremonies under Event Type
Step 4: Select the ceremony you will be attending
Step 5: Enter the coupon code provided and click Apply Voucher. Note, the coupon
voucher code for the Graduate Studies ceremonies will be distributed directly to all
registered students only
Step 6: Select Commencement Parking Permit ($0.00) under Permit Type
Step 7: Select the date of the event
Step 8: Add your vehicle information
Step 9: Review the Permission to Park Agreement and select I agree at the bottom
then click Continue
Step 10: Enter your email address and checkout for the $0 amount
Designated Parking Locations
Permits are valid in unrestricted C Zone Spaces in the Pavilion Parking Structure and
Lot 25 from 7 am – midnight.
