Summer GSR Nomination Form (to submit to program)

Date and Amount of Award

Awards will be made for the three-month period of July 1 to September 30, 2022.  The award is equivalent to a GSR Step I salary at 100% time ($3,667/month for a total salary of $11,002).

Matching Funds

The Summer Graduate Student Researcher awards must be matched with in-kind graduate student support funds during the coming academic year.  The match should consist of a minimum of 6 months (2 quarters) of GSR salary support at 50% or student support of equivalent value.  It is anticipated that extramural research grants will be the predominant source of matching funds.  Teaching Assistant appointments do not constitute an appropriate match. It shall be the responsibility of the program Chairs to obtain commitments, from faculty mentors of students nominated for Summer GSR Awards, to provide matching support during academic year 2022-2023.
