Season's Greetings from Graduate Studies

The end of the year is a time for reflection and gratitude, and as 2016 draws to a close, all of us at UC Davis Graduate Studies have much to be grateful for. 

Highlights of the past year include:

• Conferral of over 2,100 degrees
• Enrollment of over 6,900 graduate and professional students 
• Over 1,000 postdoctoral scholars supported
• Three new academic degree programs approved for fall 2017
• Over $40 million in fellowships awarded
• 138 active NSF Graduate Student Research Fellows

We couldn't have accomplished our success without the tireless efforts of our talented staff, our accomplished faculty and students, and the unwavering support our unique and innovative graduate community across all of the UC Davis campuses and beyond. As you take time to enjoy the season with family and friends, I want to extend my warmest wishes for a peaceful and happy New Year to each of you.

I am certain that we will accomplish even more great things in the year to come, and I look forward to sharing those successes with you in 2017.
