Graduate Studies Staff Member Lisa Finnegan Retires After 37 Years With UC Davis

After 20 years of service to Graduate Studies and 37 years of service to the University of California, Davis, Graduate Financial Support Specialist Lisa Finnegan retired at the end of June 2020. 

Earlier this week, Graduate Studies staff and friends participated in a surprise drive-by celebration in front of Mrak Hall to honor the longtime staff member, decorating their cars will balloons, signs, and words of appreciation for the new retiree. Over 30 past and present colleagues also submitted videos to pay tribute to Finnegan's long and successful career with the University.

Finnegan, who joined the Graduate Studies team in 2000 devoted two decades to working with students, administration, faculty, and staff on large campus initiatives and intricate financial details to ensure the best support for our graduate students. Over the years, Lisa has touched tens of thousands of lives through her work.
