Graduate Students Win Awards for Outstanding Teaching

Eleven University of California, Davis graduate students have been named the recipients of the Outstanding Graduate Student Teaching Award.

The award recognizes the contributions of graduate students to teaching and learning at UC Davis. This is a tremendously important award as it honors outstanding graduate students, reminds the campus that teaching is a central part of the university’s mission, and can inspire students and professors to give increased attention to the educational process.

A committee that included faculty and graduate students was convened Graduate Studies to review nominations and select award recipients. This year, eleven recipients were chosen from over a hundred nominees. This year’s award recipients include:
