What: This 5-session discussion series aims to provide a safe space to discuss graduate well-being and equip students with self-care tools needed to have a productive and balanced journey toward a graduate degree.

By the end of this course, students will be able to:

  • Explain the role of stress in work life
  • Discuss types of self-care tools
  • Discuss how to evaluate the scientific evidence
  • Describe the application of effective problem-solving
  • Recognize psychosocial environmental factors associated with stress

WHO: This class is open to all graduate students on a first-come first-served basis, with a maximum of 20 graduate students. Graduate students will be guided by Profs Carolyn Dewa, Georgia Drakakaki and Alessandro Ossola.
