Event Date
This series is open to graduate students and postdocs. Participants can register for workshops with an emphasis on skill development in inclusivity or intercultural teaching and learning for success in intercultural work environments. Workshops can be combined toward a certificate from Global Affairs.
Program Structure
Participants have the opportunity to connect with professionals from units campus-wide, from various backgrounds and different fields. Additionally, participants receive valuable insights into both academia and industry, with tips on how to translate skill sets, transition into different positions, and take advantage of professional development opportunities. Please note this is not a for-credit course.
Different combinations of our available workshops belong to different series tracks. Workshops can be attended over multiple years, so a certificate track need not be completed in one academic year. It is not necessary for participants to work toward a certificate, so participants may register for individual workshops as desired. Certain workshops may belong to more than one track. If you wish to complete multiple tracks to earn multiple certificates, you do not need to repeat any common workshops. A minimum of five workshops must be completed to earn a certificate.
