Dear graduate degree alumni, 

We are thrilled to bring you the all-new Graduate Alumni Network (GAN) – a network for past, present and future graduate students and post-doctoral fellows of UC Davis. GAN offers a space to reconnect with the university like never before and to reconnect with each other. 

It is our hope and aim to make this an assemblage where alumni can serve not only as participants but also as promoters. A place where you can come to contribute, pay-forward, initiate processes and programs, network to grow and help others grow personally and professionally, debate concepts with your peers and key opinion leaders while at the same time contributing to the campus, in ways only limited by your imagination.  

We want to invite you to become a part of GAN and discover how you can reconnect with UC Davis in a way that is authentic to the graduate degree and postdoctoral alumni experience. We are more than 80,000 strong and spread over every corner of the globe. In this day of connectivity, just imagine the potential of such a network! 

We are hoping that, with your help, GAN will be a one-of-a-kind community that harnesses the intellectual prowess and professional networks of alumni who have earned advanced degrees at UC Davis. GAN has been created by graduate degree alumni, for graduate degree alumni.  

Our goals for GAN are to connect, support and expand the social and professional networks for each other and, as importantly, for future alumni. 

Join us as we provide the alumni support system for the next generation of UC Davis graduate school alumni, work together to open doors for them, help them prepare for their future, and shape pathways for their success.  

GAN can also be an important component of the professional network for all of us, as its purpose is to connect all UC Davis colleagues who live and work across the globe with amazing, life- and world-changing careers. A diaspora such as this can be an incredible resource socially and professionally.  

We see GAN as unique opportunity for graduate degree and postdoctoral alumni to use the common bond of UC Davis to make new connections and re-establish some lost ones. We think we can accomplish more by being connected and engaged with each other!
