Info for Graduate Students: UCPath Access and Student Medical Insurance

Graduate students and postdoctoral scholars,

As indicated in my message sent to you on September 27, the UC Davis service channels are actively working hard to enter graduate student and postdoctoral scholar appointments into UCPath.  You will not be able to access UCPath until your appointment process is completed.  Your access to UCPath should be available to you on October 15.

If you experience any problems in receiving your correct pay, please reach out promptly to your hiring department or your graduate program.

Medical insurance for all students is available through UC SHIP, which is accessible at ucop.edu/ucship.  As such, it will not appear in the Health and Welfare section of UCPath.

For more information about UCPath, visit the UC Davis UCPath website or review the UCPath FAQ for graduate students and postdoctoral scholars on the Graduate Studies website.

Sincerely,
Jean-Pierre Delplanque
Vice Provost and Dean, Graduate Studies
