Telling Your Research Story

Event Date

Location
Walker Hall, Gibeling Room (1220)

Have you ever wondered how to map your research project onto a story or wondered where to start? If so, come learn from Beth Tweedy, STEM Librarian at the UC Davis Library, about crafting engaging and effective stories to share your research. In this workshop we will discuss the parts of presenting that aren’t on your slides or poster. This includes considering your audience, presentation setting, and communication goals, crafting a compelling and interesting narrative, and how to deliver that narrative to your audience. This workshop is a part of the Road to Grad Slam series.
