Director of Mentoring and Academic Success Initiatives
In a new role for the campus, Elizabeth Sturdy leads campus-wide initiatives designed to advocate for and address the changing needs of our diverse student and postdoctoral scholar populations. She supports equitable access and opportunities for graduate students and postdoctoral scholars through the design and implementation programs and initiatives for the graduate education community. She is passionate about mentorship, retention, and holistic student support. Elizabeth previously served as a Senior Academic Advisor for Graduate Studies and a Graduate Program Coordinator for the Ecology Graduate Program. She earned her master's degree from CU Boulder and her bachelor's degree from UC Davis.
