Resources Available For Grad Students and Postdocs Impacted By California Wildfires

Members of the UC Davis graduate education community:

The devastating impact of the fires in the Northern California region and the continued threat they pose to our community falls far too close to home.

As always, the leadership and staff in Graduate Studies are here to support you, or any impacted graduate students or postdocs you know, during this difficult time. If you have questions about your enrollment and leave options, our student affairs officers can be of help. Our staff can also refer you to our campus colleagues who coordinate additional student support services.

Finally, if you would like to talk through how the recent natural disasters have affected you or your loved ones, counseling services are available in our office.

Please contact Graduate Studies if there is any way we can possibly offer assistance or support. Feel free to call us directly at 530-752-0652 or email gradservices@ucdavis.edu.

Sincerely,
Prasant Mohapatra
Vice Provost, Graduate Education
Dean, Graduate Studies
