Coronavirus Updates for the Graduate Education Community
Current Campus Status
UC Davis is committed to the health and well-being of our community. We have a dedicated team working to inform our campus response, and we are working closely with local and state public health departments and the University of California Office of the President.
Davis campus is currently at "reduced operations" in a gradual reopening. In December, Provost Croughan and Academic Senate Chair Tucker, in a letter to faculty, conveyed their expectation that instruction in the fall will return to pre-pandemic, in-person delivery, basing their optimism on the vaccines now being distributed and UC Davis’ robust testing program. Additionally, the Office of Research has shared that they expect all on-campus research activities, core facilities, and research laboratories to get back to full occupancy by the fall quarter. The ramp-up process will restart as soon as the pandemic situation improves.
Updates to the campus operation status can be found on the Finance, Operations and Administration website.
