About the Seminar
A number of experiential education programs targeting Ph.D. students and postdoctoral scholars exist on the UC Davis campus. These programs provide opportunities to explore diverse careers and gain direct experience through internships, job shadowing, and projects.

Dr. Marjannie Akintunde, Senior Career Advisor and Manager of the Leaders for the Future program will moderate a panel of Ph.D. students and postdocs who have participated in these programs. Panelists will share their experiences: including what they gained from their participation, balancing their participation with their graduate studies, and how they were able to enrich their research groups by bringing back their newly gained knowledge and sharing their experiences with their faculty mentors and fellow graduate students.

A Professional Development Resource Fair will immediately follow this event from 2-4pm in the MPR, Student Community Center. Many of the programs that provide experiential opportunities will be present to answer any questions you may have.

Sponsored by Graduate Studies and GradPathways.
