Graduate student writers must complete an array of written genres, including research proposals, literature reviews, introductions, methodology, and discussion.Navigating these texts is not easy, especially as a multilingual writer. In this hands-on workshop, we will look at linguistics features common to different genres. You will also leave with a list of resources for independent practice.
Instructor: Erika I-Tremblay, Ph.D., is a lecturer in the University Writing Program where she teaches English for Multilingual Students (EMS), entry-level writing, and upper-division writing courses. She first came to the United States as a high school exchange student.She enjoys working with students of diverse backgrounds.
